Edition 2025 — Etruscan Trails in Blera
2025 Edition
The 11th edition of Etruscan Trails: Autumn Colors and Mill Flavors kicked off on Saturday, October 25, 2025, as the first stage of the Frantoi Aperti event by the Colli Etruschi Cooperative, and continued on November 15, 16, and 23. The inaugural stage led participants to the Etruscan Necropolis of San Giuliano, in the Marturanum Park of Barbarano Romano, with a route of about 4-5 kilometers through rock-cut tombs and autumn woods. Following this, a tasting at the mill featured bruschetta, pasta and chickpeas, vegetables with new oil, typical pastries, water, and wine, followed in the afternoon by a visit to the medieval village of Blera. The excursions, led by AIGAE environmental guides, confirmed the success of a formula that combines nature, archaeology, and food and wine in the Viterbo Tuscia, in Lazio.
