Etna Porcini Mushroom Festival

The 12th edition of the Etna Porcini Mushroom Festival was held in Fornazzo, a hamlet of Milo (CT), on the weekend of September 27 and 28, 2025, with free admission.

On Saturday, the village came alive from the afternoon until midnight with games and entertainment for children, a painting competition, circus performances, a craft market, food stalls, and live music. On Sunday, from morning until midnight, the Etna Social Hub at the Chestnut Ecomuseum, children's workshops, a woodworking workshop, the painting competition awards ceremony, film screenings about Etna, and new concerts took place.

The absolute star was the Etna porcini mushroom, served in risotto, handmade pasta, tortelli, tripe, meat, and meatballs, accompanied by DOC wines and Etna Bianco Superiore. The event, organized by the Fornazzo Neighborhood Committee, confirmed the success of recent editions, which had exceeded seven thousand visitors.
