Etna Chocolate Carnival

The 5th edition of the Etna Chocolate Carnival brought the historic center of Giarre, in the province of Catania, to life from February 27 to March 4, 2025, transforming Piazza Duomo into the epicenter of Sicily's sweetest Carnival.

The inauguration was held on February 27 at 4:00 PM, followed in the evening by a DJ set by Rosario Castorina. The following days featured a rotation of musical and entertainment shows, including the concert by Falsi D'Autore (March 1, 8:00 PM), performances by Armonicamente Live Band, Angels Live Band, and Elianto Country Western – Line Dance, leading up to the grand finale of the Chocolate Carnival Sound on March 4.

Among the most popular events were the "Maschere in passerella" parade, the live cooking show organized with the "Falcone" Hotel Management Institute, and the dance performance by "Dance Sport La Rosa." Every afternoon, starting at 3:00 PM, children's entertainment provided by Butterfly Animazione offered themed games and chocolate workshops. Admission to all events was free.
