Edition 2025 — ETHRome

The 2025 edition of ETHRome was held from October 17th to 19th at the Talent Garden on Via Ostiense in Rome, focusing on artificial intelligence, DeFi, and privacy. Three days of continuous development brought together over 250 participants and 14 sponsors, with 65 projects presented to the jury and a prize pool distributed in thematic bounties.

ETHRome 2025

The third edition of ETHRome took place from Friday, October 17th to Sunday, October 19th, 2025, at the usual venue of the Talent Garden at Via Ostiense 92 in Rome. The hackathon, organized by the urbe.eth community, was structured around three thematic tracks: privacy, artificial intelligence, and DeFi.

The figures reported by the organizers include over 250 participants, 14 sponsors, and 65 projects presented at the end of the three days, with a total prize pool of approximately 9,000 dollars distributed through bounties proposed by partners. Supporters of the edition included Base, Polkadot, 1inch, ENS, the Ethereum Foundation, Calimero, iExec, Zama, Taikai, Civic, Chainbound, Enclave, BuidlGuidl, and XMTP.

As per tradition, alongside the coding marathon, technical workshops, mentorship sessions, and side events organized by the community took place in the Ostiense district.
