The season that prepared Eterocromo

In 2025, the Teatro Chisciotte in Montecelio did not yet host a structured festival, but its programming already contained all the ingredients. On September 13, 2025, the room on via Trasciani hosted Poesie in stato d'assedio - Letture per la Palestina, a reading evening with Mario Eleno and contributions from Matteo Castorino and Alfio Nicotra, created in collaboration with the association «Un ponte per», with proceeds donated to a humanitarian project.

In the following months, the venue continued with theatre, music, and meetings, in collaboration with the Compagnia degli Innamorati Erranti of Mario Eleno and Manuela Mosè, leading up to the November events. It is from this continuous activity, rooted in the village of Montecelio and the Tiburtine territory of the Metropolitan City of Rome Capital, that the idea was born in 2026 to bring everything together under a single name: Eterocromo Festival.
