About Este in Bloom

Every spring, the Gardens of the Carrarese Castle and Piazza Maggiore transform into a large, widespread garden: Este in Bloom is the floral and nursery market that brings over a hundred exhibitors of flowers, rare plants, crafts, and gardening products to the historic center of Este. With workshops, botanical conferences, show cooking with edible flowers, and walks among the flowerbeds, it is one of the most beloved garden events in the Veneto region.

Spring blooms in Este

Este in Bloom is the major floral and nursery market that enlivens the historic center of Este, in the province of Padua, every year. The event unfolds in the evocative Italian Gardens of the Carrarese Castle, in Piazza Maggiore, in Piazza Trento, and other locations in the center, with over a hundred exhibitors spread across thousands of square meters.

More than just plants

Alongside stands of flowers, plants, and gardening products, Este in Bloom offers a packed program of initiatives: floral watercolor and ceramic modeling workshops, meetings on essential oils, botanical conferences, guided tours of the castle towers and historic villas, dance performances, and show cooking with edible flowers.

A celebration of the territory

Promoted by the Municipality of Este, the event combines a passion for gardening with the enhancement of Este's historical and artistic heritage, creating a spring weekend that attracts enthusiasts, families, and tourists from all over the region.
