Edition 2025 — Estate Nicolosi

In the summer of 2025, the "Stelle e Lapilli" festival brought Nicolosi to life from July to August with a packed programme of theatre, music, and religious, cultural, and sporting events. Highlights included the Notti di San Lorenzo, featuring music, dance, and high-altitude food and wine, as well as "Lapilli" events dedicated to the flavours of Etna and stargazing.

The 2025 edition of Estate Nicolosi confirmed the "Stelle e Lapilli" festival formula, distributing events between the historic centre, the Monti Rossi Pine Forest, and the mountain locations on the southern slope of Mount Etna, in the province of Catania.

The programme alternated between theatrical performances by the Compagnia Amici del Teatro di Nicolosi, musical evenings, traditional religious festivals, and mountain-related sporting events. The heart of the summer was the Notti di San Lorenzo, with music, dance, and food and wine experiences to be enjoyed under the starry Etna sky, accompanied by "Lapilli" events featuring tastings of Etna DOC wines, local gastronomy, and astronomical observations in the volcano's lava landscape.
