Estate al MAXXI L'Aquila

The 2025 edition of Estate al MAXXI L'Aquila took place from June 19 to August 1 with 16 free events in the exedra courtyard of Palazzo Ardinghelli, in the historic center of L'Aquila. The program was structured into three themes: Books in the Courtyard, featuring five meetings dedicated to essays from major Italian publishers presented by their authors (including Massimo Fusillo and Maura Gancitano); Cinema in the Courtyard, with screenings of works by directors such as Wong Kar-wai and Michel Gondry; and Music, with events curated in partnership with the "Alfredo Casella" Conservatory. The festival, realized in collaboration with the University of L'Aquila and the L'Aquila Film Festival, confirmed the MAXXI's role as a cultural meeting place for the city.
