Edition 2025 — Eroica Montalcino

The ninth edition of Eroica Montalcino took place on Sunday, May 25, 2025, bringing 2,247 cyclists from 36 nations to the white gravel roads of the Val d'Orcia. A record-breaking, sun-kissed edition with 23% international participation and female presence growing to over 13%.

The ninth edition of Eroica Montalcino confirmed the success of the event, with 2,247 cyclists from 36 countries riding bicycles built before 1987. Participants crossed breathtaking landscapes and iconic villages such as Buonconvento, Bagno Vignoni, Pienza, San Quirico d'Orcia, Trequanda, and Castelnuovo dell'Abate.

Five routes were offered: Crete Senesi (approx. 70 km, the most popular), Medio Val d'Orcia (approx. 96 km), Lungo Eroico (approx. 153 km), Brunello (approx. 46 km), and the walk (approx. 27 km). A sun-kissed edition characterized by the smiles of the participants, amidst fatigue, dust, and beauty in the heart of the Brunello Tuscany.
