Edition 2025 — Ermetika 8 Hour Race of Barletta
The fifth edition
On Saturday, December 20, 2025, Barletta hosted the fifth edition of the Ermetika 8 Hour Race, organized by ASD Barletta Sportiva at the Buzzi Unicem plant. Approximately 130 athletes from 14 regions competed on the one-kilometer loop in the 8-hour, marathon, and 23 km races, which were valid for the Challenge Club Super Marathon Italia and the IUTA Grand Prix.
The winners
In the main 8-hour event, Antonio Zaini (Manopello Sogeda) triumphed with 97.290 km, while Rosa Cordini won the women's category with 72.115 km. A day that reaffirmed Barletta's status as a staple in the Southern Italian ultramarathon scene.
