Edition 2025 — Ercolano Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Ercolano Carnival took place from March 2nd to 8th with the theme "Carnival: every woman matters: One less," a week of events dedicated to women's rights. The highlight was Shrove Tuesday, March 4th: children's entertainment at Miglio d'Oro Park, the afternoon parade through the city streets, and the evening party in Piazza Trieste. To conclude, on March 8th, a theatrical performance at the MAV on the role of women in history.

Ercolano Carnival 2025

The Ercolano Carnival 2025, organized by the Municipality with the patronage of the Metropolitan City of Naples, was held from March 2nd to 8th under the title "Carnival: every woman matters: One less", dedicating the festival to women's rights. On Sunday, March 2nd, the morning entertainment involved Via Panoramica, Piazza Trieste, and the ZTL (limited traffic zone).

The highlight was Shrove Tuesday, March 4th: from 10 AM to 1 PM, Miglio d'Oro Park hosted bouncy castles, baby dance, puppets, and cotton candy for children; from 4 PM, the parade with a horse-drawn carriage, marching band, majorettes, and jugglers traveled through the main streets; from 6 PM, in Piazza Trieste, a stage with a DJ, face-painting, and a costume parade, closing at 9 PM with a show by comedian Salvatore Gisonna. On Saturday, March 8th, for International Women's Day, a theatrical performance was held at the MAV by the Ritena company on the female figure in history.

Programme

Sunday, March 2nd: morning entertainment on Via Panoramica, Piazza Trieste, and the ZTL. Tuesday, March 4th (Shrove Tuesday): 10 AM - 1 PM children's entertainment at Miglio d'Oro Park (bouncy castles, face-painting, baby dance, puppets, balloons, music, popcorn, and cotton candy); 4 PM parade through the main streets with a horse-drawn carriage, marching band, majorettes, entertainers, jugglers, and mascots; 6 PM party in Piazza Trieste with a stage, DJ, face-painting, mascot show, costume parade, DJ balloon party, and local artists; 9 PM show by comedian Salvatore Gisonna. Saturday, March 8th: theatrical performance at the MAV by the Ritena company on the role of women in history.
