Edition 2025 — Erchie Carnival

In 2025, the Erchie Carnival once again brought the historic center to life with its traditional papier-mâché allegorical float parades. Local carnival groups created a procession of masks, confetti, and music that, starting from the town center, involved families and children in one of the most heartfelt festivals of the Salento community.

The 2025 Carnival in Erchie

The 2025 edition of the Erchie Carnival confirmed the vitality of this popular tradition in the small town in the province of Brindisi. As is customary, local carnival groups built their papier-mâché allegorical floats, which were the stars of the parades through the historic center streets during the Carnival period.

The procession, free and open to all, combined floats, costumed groups, music, and confetti in a family-friendly afternoon of celebration, renewing the appointment that brings the entire community and visitors from neighboring Salento towns out into the streets every year.
