Era di Maggio 2025 at the Botanical Garden of Rome

During the weekend of May 10 and 11, 2025, the Botanical Garden of Rome, in Trastevere, hosted a new edition of Era di Maggio, described by the organizers as the most flowery festival of the year. The itinerary of the edition was dedicated to the stories of extraordinary women who shaped the past and inspired the future, a common thread that ran through guided tours, meetings, and installations throughout the garden.

The program alternated between visits to plant collections, creative workshops for children and adults, seminars, exhibitions, and a space dedicated to crafts, accompanied by live music from students of the Liceo Musicale Farnesina. Exceptionally, Palazzo Corsini opened the doors of some rooms usually not accessible, dedicated to the protagonists of the edition. During the two days, the Butterfly House inside the garden was also open to visitors.

Admission cost 12 euros per person and included access to the Botanical Garden and activities; small children entered for free. The event ran continuously from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
