ALICE B., the 2025 season
The 2025 season of the English Theatre of Rome revolved around ALICE B., a world premiere production signed by the company's founder Gaby Ford. The multimedia show explored the figure of Gertrude Stein and the artistic ferment of early 20th-century Paris, highlighting its resonances with the present.
Performances in Trastevere
The performances were held from Wednesday 12 to Sunday 16 March 2025 in the Aula Magna Regina of the John Cabot University's Guarini campus, at via della Lungara 233, with two performances daily: at 11.30 am and 6.30 pm on weekdays, and at 4.00 pm and 6.30 pm on the weekend. Tickets cost 15 euros full price, 12 euros for students and over 65s, and 10 euros for groups of at least twelve people. The production was born from the ongoing collaboration between the company and the university's Italy Reads programme, which offers cultural paths in English in Rome every year.
