Emily Literary Prize

The third edition of the Emily Literary Prize "The Thousand Faces of Violence" took place on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 9:00 PM, in the Gardens of Palazzo d'Avalos in Vasto. The 2025 edition was dedicated to the memory of Andrea Spezzacatena, known as "the boy with the pink pants."

Finalists included Virginia Asaro with Le circostanze fragili. L'ombra di Pirandello, Mara di Noia with Dosolina. L'angelo dei bambini, and Luigi Mariani with Dove non canta più il cielo. Special guests of the evening were Teresa Manes, Andrea's mother, and actor Luca Eduardo Varone, known for his role in the series Mare Fuori. The event was promoted by the Emily Abruzzo Association with the patronage of the Municipality of Vasto and the National Union of Victims.
