Edition 2025 — ERF in Cesena
In the summer of 2025, the Emilia Romagna Festival celebrated its 25th edition (July 3 – September 10, 2025) with about sixty concerts and over 600 artists in more than twenty locations in the region. In Cesena, the Cloister of San Francesco hosted four evenings of great music, from the piano of Raphael Gualazzi to the accordion of Richard Galliano, confirming the Romagna city as one of the most important venues for the festival.
2025 Edition in Cesena
The 25th edition of the Emilia Romagna Festival brought to Cesena, in the province of Forlì-Cesena, four evening concerts in the Cloister of San Francesco:
- July 15, 9:00 PM — pianist and singer-songwriter Raphael Gualazzi.
- July 24, 9:00 PM — the ensemble I Virtuosi Italiani for the 300th anniversary of Vivaldi's The Four Seasons, performed in its entirety.
- August 6, 9:00 PM — Cristina Zavalloni with her historic sextet, in a tribute to Édith Piaf.
- September 1, 9:00 PM — Richard Galliano with Passion Galliano: Around Gershwin, from Rhapsody in Blue to improvisations inspired by Debussy, Satie, Ravel, and Piazzolla.
The evenings, part of the program directed by Massimo Mercelli, were held in collaboration with the Municipality of Cesena and the Emilia-Romagna Region, confirming the strong link between the festival and the city.
