Edition 2025 — ERF Pomposa

In the summer of 2025, the Emilia Romagna Festival presented its usual program of classical and contemporary music in the historic venues of the region, with the Abbey of Pomposa in Codigoro among the most evocative locations on the calendar. The festival, directed by Massimo Mercelli, confirmed its formula that combines great performers, ensembles, and projects that dialogue between tradition and new languages.

Emilia Romagna Festival 2025

The 2025 edition of the Emilia Romagna Festival presented its varied summer program, bringing great music to the castles, abbeys, and cloisters of Emilia-Romagna. Among the most fascinating venues, the Abbey of Pomposa, in the Municipality of Codigoro (FE), hosted concerts of classical and contemporary music in the evocative setting of the Po Delta.

Under the artistic direction of flutist Massimo Mercelli, the festival confirmed its identity, made up of internationally renowned performers and a program capable of alternating historical repertoire and contemporary languages, laying the groundwork for the 2026 millennium edition.
