Emigrants' Festival

The 54th edition of the Emigrants' Festival was held in Bompietro on Saturday, August 23, 2025, confirming the traditional fixed date. The day brought together the community and the many emigrants who returned to the village from Switzerland, Germany, and other countries.

The central moment was the Holy Mass dedicated to emigrants scattered around the world, followed by the tasting of local Madonie products — fava beans, chickpeas, cheeses, and various pastries — and ballroom dancing in the square at the end of the evening. Between folklore and conviviality, the 2025 edition reaffirmed the identity value of a festival that has celebrated the bond between Bompietro and its distant children for over half a century.
