The 2025 edition of the Emigrant Festival of Veppo took place around mid-August, from August 14th to 16th, with food stalls, dancing evenings, and events dedicated to the memory of emigration to France, repopulating the village of Val di Vara for a few days.
In 2025, the Emigrant Festival of Veppo renewed its tradition around mid-August, from August 14th to 16th. Food stalls, dancing evenings, and cultural events enlivened the hamlet of Rocchetta di Vara, celebrating the summer return of emigrants and the bond with the roots of the Val di Vara. A festival that since 1979 preserves the memory of an important chapter in the history of the town.
