Emigrant Festival of San Biagio Saracinisco

On Monday, August 18, 2025, San Biagio Saracinisco celebrated its traditional Emigrant Festival, included in the official summer 2025 program of the Comino Valley. The event, dedicated to those who had to leave the village to seek work abroad between the 19th and 20th centuries, drew returning emigrants and their descendants to the small village in the province of Frosinone, along with residents and visitors to the valley.

During the same period, the neighboring municipalities of Picinisco and Settefrati also dedicated a day to their emigrants, confirming a tradition shared by the entire Comino Valley, a land of historical emigration. The festival took place as usual through the streets and squares of the historic center, in a community atmosphere that represents the most vibrant moment of the summer in San Biagio every year.
