Edition 2025 — Emigrant Festival

In the summer of 2025, Casalattico once again renewed its appointment with the Emigrant Festival, the collective ritual that brings the descendants of those who left for Ireland and the world back to the Comino Valley village every August. Between Irish music, Ciociaro saltarello, fish and chips, and Guinness, the small town in the province of Frosinone reunited with its distant children under the flags of the diaspora nations.

The 2025 edition of the Emigrant Festival confirmed Casalattico as the little Ireland of Ciociaria. In the historic center of the village, in the province of Frosinone, emigrants and descendants arrived primarily from Ireland and Great Britain, welcomed by Irish folk music, Celtic dances, and the Ciociaro saltarello. There was no shortage of stalls with the famous fish and chips, sausages, Guinness, and local specialties like Pecorino di Picinisco and Atina wines, in a day that once again united two cultures and many generations.
