Edition 2025 — Elba Comics + Players

The first edition of Elba Comics + Players took place from April 25 to 27, 2025, in Porto Azzurro, debuting as a pop festival combining comics, cosplay, games, and augmented reality. Inspired by Lucca Comics & Games but adapted to the identity of the Island of Elba, the event brought national and international guests and five themed areas to the seaside village.

The inaugural edition of Elba Comics + Players debuted in Porto Azzurro over the weekend of April 25-27, 2025, strongly supported by artistic director Stefano Picchi. The festival was divided into five themed areas — Comics, Players, Fan Art Zone, Education & Training, and Movie — involving collectors, families, gaming enthusiasts, and tourists.

Among the guests were world-renowned Japanese mangaka Tamura Yoshiyasu, Davide Fabbri (author of Star Wars graphic novels for Dark Horse), Igor Chimisso (Disney illustrator), Arianna Rea (Frozen and Rapunzel), and Riccardo Nunziati, who presented a special Diabolik story set on the island right in Porto Azzurro.
