Edition 2025 — Fiumalbo Carnival

In 2025, the Fiumalbo Carnival featured, on Sunday, March 2 from 3:00 PM, the second edition of the "El Mondo alla Rinverscia" parade in the historic center, with about a hundred participants. The festival concluded on Shrove Tuesday with the evening torchlight procession and bonfire, according to the tradition passed down since 1512 in the Apennine village.

The 2025 edition confirmed the double event of the Fiumalbo Carnival, in the Province of Modena. On Sunday, March 2, at 3:00 PM, the historic center hosted the parade "El Mondo alla Rinverscia" with about a hundred participants engaged in the representation of the world upside down, including mayors transformed into street sweepers and men carrying donkeys on their shoulders.

On Shrove Tuesday, from 8:00 PM, the torchlight procession was renewed: the procession, led by the figures of Alfonso I and Lucrezia Borgia, started from the Seminary towards Ca' Monia to the river confluence, where the torches were thrown into the bonfire that symbolically concludes the festival. The organization was curated by Dario Brugioni with the contribution of local historian Diego Petrucci.
