2025 Edition: The First Science Festival
The sixth edition of the Einaudi Pi Greco Day was held in Syracuse from March 13 to 15, 2025, in collaboration with the Municipality of Syracuse as part of the "First Science Festival." Thursday, March 13, opened with a lecture on Archimedes' machines by engineer Umberto Di Marco and, in the afternoon, the presentation of the Largo Aretusa project by engineer Giuseppe Scalora.
On Friday, March 14, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, over 1,000 students enlivened Piazza Duomo, Piazza Minerva, Piazzale Aretusa, Via Picherali, Piazzetta San Rocco, and the Lungomare Alfeo with a STEM treasure hunt dedicated to Archimedes and James Clerk Maxwell, along a 3.14 km route with riddles at 14 stations. Saturday, March 15, concluded with a meeting on artificial intelligence featuring Prof. Paolo Scollo and Prof. Elio Cappuccio.
