Edition 2025 — ECO Festival
ECO Festival 2025, the third edition
On September 16 and 17, 2025, the Piazza di Spagna Congress Center, at via Alibert 5A in Rome, hosted the third edition of ECO - Sustainable Mobility and Smart Cities Festival, coinciding with the start of European Mobility Week.
Themes and protagonists
The two days took stock of the ecological transition in the mobility of people and goods, with sessions dedicated to the development of infrastructure and services, the advance of electric mobility, innovation, logistics and intermodality, circular economy, governance, health and safety, environmental education, and urban reforestation. Among the expected protagonists were ministers Adolfo Urso and Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, Deputy Minister Edoardo Rixi, and the president of the European Parliament's environment committee, Antonio Decaro.
The edition's research
A novelty of 2025 was the presentation of a study by the Istituto Piepoli, conducted on a sample of one thousand Italians, which defined a sustainable mobility index for the country.
Patronage and partners
The edition took place under the patronage of ANCI, Roma Capitale, the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security, and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, in collaboration with ENEL, Regionale, Intesa Sanpaolo, ALIS, CONAI, and Amazon. Admission was free and open to the public.
