Eco Carnival – First Municipality

The 2025 edition of the Eco Carnival consolidated the project promoted by the First Municipality of Catania, in Sicily, focusing on creative recycling and sustainability. On that occasion too, the masked parade enlivened the streets of the city's historic center, with masks and floats built using recycled plastic, paper, and fabrics.

The event saw the participation of local schools, which were the protagonists in preparing costumes and decorations, and offered workshops and moments of sharing for families and citizens. Confirming itself as a free and participatory neighborhood event, the 2025 edition paved the way for the subsequent 2026 edition.
