Edition 2025 — Echi nel Vento
The San Biagio stop of the 2025 edition of Echi nel Vento took place on Sunday, December 7, in the church of San Biagio Martire, starting at 10:30 AM. The program featured a session dedicated to bagpipes and small pipes led by Massimo Belli and a meeting on the construction, reconstruction, tuning, and marketing of zampogne and bagpipes with ethnomusicologist Maurizio Agamennone (University of Florence, coordinator of the Calamus Study Center) and instrument maker Marco Tomassi. After the presentation of the 2025 Echi nel Vento Award, Tomassi himself performed on the sordellina and giant zampogna, followed by the group I Suoni degli Aurunci with Gabriele D'Amico (organetto and vocals), Maurizio Bertelli (zampogna), Antonella Sparagna (vocals), Manuel Bertelli (organetto), and Romolo Martufi (percussion). The day concluded in Piazza Iaconelli with the traditional polenta alla San Biagese offered by the community. The festival, which opened on December 6 in Atina, then continued its winter itinerary in other villages of the Valle di Comino, including Villa Latina and Picinisco. Free admission to all events.
