Eccentrica - Amateur Theatre Festival

Eccentrica 2025, the 4th edition

From August 23 to 29, 2025, Castellana Grotte hosted the fourth edition of Eccentrica in Largo San Leone Magno. It was an edition of growth: for the first time, alongside local companies, the festival welcomed groups from outside the region, confirming its vocation to expand like the stalactite that gives it its name.

Every evening, from 8:00 PM, the Behind the Scenes segment introduced the companies and their shows to the public, before the performances began at 9:00 PM. Admission was free with reserved seating, in a historic centre enlivened by weeks of events as part of Piazze d'Estate. The artistic direction was curated by the Gruppo Teatrale Amici Nostri APS with the Municipality of Castellana Grotte.

• 9:00 PM — The Castellana companies: Officina del Sorriso, Grocà, and Filodrammatica Ciccio Clori

Every evening, from 8:00 PM, the Behind the Scenes segment presented the companies and their shows. All evenings took place in Largo San Leone Magno with free admission and reserved seating.
