About Tournament City of Filottrano

Every Easter, the San Giobbe Sports Field in Filottrano, in the province of Ancona, transforms into the heart of youth football in the Marche region. The Easter Tournament – City of Filottrano, organized by U.S. Filottranese 1922, brings together sixteen teams in the Under-13 category over five days of matches, fair play, and fun. A historic event, now in its 23rd edition in 2026, which for over twenty years has lit up the stands of San Giobbe and accompanied families in the Marche during the holidays.

An Easter tradition of Marche football

When the Easter holidays arrive, an event that is now part of the town's sporting identity is renewed in Filottrano (province of Ancona, Marche): the Easter Tournament – City of Filottrano. Organized with care and precision by U.S. Filottranese 1922, the home football club, the tournament is dedicated to youth football and particularly to the Under-13 category. In 2026, the event reached its 23rd edition, confirming itself as one of the longest-running and most anticipated events in the regional scene.

The San Giobbe Field, home of Filottranese

The heart of the event is the San Giobbe Sports Field, the historic home of U.S. Filottranese 1922. For five days, the field hosts an intense schedule of matches, from the group stages to the semi-finals and finals. The stands of San Giobbe fill with a warm audience: parents, grandparents, fans, and enthusiasts who accompany the young footballers in a festive atmosphere, where the result matters less than team spirit and the joy of playing.

Sixteen teams for a great tournament

The format includes the participation of sixteen teams, all in the same category, from Filottrano and many other locations in the Marche region. Over the years, clubs such as Ancona, Tolentino, Giovane Ancona, Aurora Jesi, Maceratese, Recanatese, Moie Vallesina, Vigor Castelfidardo, Vigor Senigallia, Treiese, Salesiana Vigor, Castelplanio, Monserra, and Filottranese itself have enlivened the tournament. The tournament represents an important showcase for young local talents and a moment of comparison between the youth academies of the main football clubs in the Marche region.

More than just a competition

The Easter Tournament – City of Filottrano is much more than a sports competition: it is a community event that fills the holiday days with great plays, fair play, and fun. For the town of Filottrano, it is an occasion for hospitality and promotion, capable of attracting families and young athletes from all over the province of Ancona and beyond to San Giobbe. An event that combines tradition, sport, and social interaction in the spirit of football played by the youngest.
