Edition 2025 — Easter Nativity Scenes
The second edition of the Easter Nativity Scene Exhibition took place from April 16 to May 4, 2025, at Via Lepanto 2, near the Balestrate train station. The exhibition presented the ten scenes retracing the Passion of Christ, handcrafted using the Neapolitan 'impagliati' technique and populated by historical and contemporary figures: judges Falcone and Borsellino, Father Pino Puglisi, Franca Viola, Domenico Intravaia, and the YouTubers Me contro Te.
The initiative, conceived by Maddalena Cottone, was supported by the Terre delle Balestrate Cooperative and the Sant'Anna parish, with the help of local sponsors. From the very first hours of opening, the exhibition attracted hundreds of visitors.
