Easter Sunday 2025 in Comiso followed the usual and beloved script: the morning exit of the statues from the Basilica of Mary Most Holy Annunciata, the processions through the historic center and the neighborhoods, and the repeated moments of Peace in front of every church, greeted by the singing of the Regina Coeli performed by children dressed as angels.

As per tradition, the encounter in Piazza Fonte Diana was one of the most emotional, featuring the act of entrusting the city. The day concluded late in the evening with the return of the statues to the Basilica, confirming Comiso, in the heart of the province of Ragusa, as one of the capitals of the Sicilian Holy Week.
