Edition 2025 — Earth Hour Rome

The 19th edition of WWF's Earth Hour was held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, with a symbolic light switch-off at 8:30 PM. The national event took place in Rome, at the Colosseum, where artist Greg Goya created the Fast Art piece "TURN IT OFF". The Quirinale, Palazzo Madama, Montecitorio, and Palazzo Chigi were also in the dark.

Earth Hour 2025 at the Colosseum

On March 22, 2025, the 19th edition of WWF's Earth Hour took place. The national event was held in Rome, in the pedestrian area of the Colosseum, at Largo Gaetana Agnesi: from 6:00 PM, artist Greg Goya created the new Fast Art piece "TURN IT OFF", an interactive art project unveiled to the public until 8:30 PM, the moment of the monument's switch-off.

At the same hour, the Quirinal Palace, Palazzo Madama, Palazzo Montecitorio, and Palazzo Chigi also remained in the dark. Worldwide, the 2025 edition totaled nearly 3 million hours donated to the Planet.
