Edition 2025 — EagleXman

The fifth edition of the EagleXman Extreme Triathlon took place on July 19, 2025, with a new participation record: 300 athletes registered across the various distances, including 23 international participants from eight countries, such as France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Slovenia, and Australia. The race started at dawn from Lake Campotosto with a finish at Campo Imperatore.

EagleXman 2025: a record-breaking fifth edition

On July 19, 2025, the town of Campotosto, in the province of L'Aquila, hosted the fifth edition of the EagleXman Extreme Triathlon, with a record participation of 300 athletes from around the world. The full distance featured a 3.8 km swim in Lake Campotosto, approximately 177 km of cycling, and a 42 km run, with the final ascent to Campo Imperatore at 2,128 meters.

Among the registered participants were 23 international athletes from eight different nations. The awards ceremony was held the following day, July 20, in Fonte Cerreto, celebrating all finishers according to the event's philosophy, where everyone who crosses the finish line is a winner. This edition confirmed the EagleXman as one of the most evocative endurance tests in Abruzzo and the entire Apennine range.
