DRIFFest – Of the Story, the Film

The 2025 edition of Of the Story, the Film – DRIFFest, the sixteenth, brought some of the most attended evenings of the festival directed by Giancarlo Visitilli to Sannicandro di Bari. The local program opened in the courtyard of the Castello Normanno-Svevo on July 3 with brand strategist Simona Ruffino and her essay «Non tutto è come appare», while on July 18, the film «Una figlia» by Ivano De Matteo, starring Stefano Accorsi, was presented. On July 26, the Notte Bianca (White Night) of Sannicandro hosted the closing party, with a summary of the festival and the presentation of the four awards. All evenings, held outdoors and with free admission, confirmed the formula that intertwines a book and a film around a social theme.

Thursday, July 3 — Courtyard of the Castello Normanno-Svevo

• 7:30 PM — Opening of the Sannicandro program with Simona Ruffino and the essay «Non tutto è come appare», in dialogue with journalist Francesca Savino

Friday, July 18 — Courtyard of the Castello Normanno-Svevo

• 7:30 PM — Presentation of the film «Una figlia» by Ivano De Matteo, starring Stefano Accorsi

Saturday, July 26 — Notte Bianca, closing night

• Grand finale of the festival in Sannicandro di Bari with a summary of the event and the presentation of the four DRIFFest awards
