Edition 2025 — Dopolavoro in Scena

The Teatro Gianfranco Bonavia in Genola, in the province of Cuneo, has been the local reference point for live performances for years. A passion for high-quality amateur theatre and collaboration with local companies like La Corte dei Folli paved the way for the Dopolavoro in Scena festival, which has found its natural home here.

Before the debut of the Dopolavoro in Scena festival, the Teatro Gianfranco Bonavia in Genola already hosted a lively programme of shows and cultural initiatives promoted by the Municipality and local associations of the Cuneo plains. It is in this context, built on community theatre and strong roots in the Province of Cuneo, that the idea of a structured theatre season matured. The tradition of Piedmontese amateur theatre, with its dialectal comedy and auteur texts, forms the heritage from which the festival took its inspiration.
