56th edition (2025)
The 56th edition of the Don Giovanni Pellicciotti International Organ Music Festival was held in Vasto from July 6 to August 31, 2025, with the support of the Municipality's Department of Culture and Tourism. The concerts took place between the Co-Cathedral of San Giuseppe and the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore.
Featured musicians included Mario Ciferri, Valerio Santoro, Francesco Condello, Samuel Maillo de Pablo, Francesco D'Annibale, Giuseppe Iacobucci, and Giovannimaria Perrucci. The artistic direction was entrusted to Maestro Alessandro Alonzi, who also performed in the closing concert alongside Maestro Andrea Caretta on the French horn, with a program paying tribute to Richard Strauss. An edition that confirmed the festival's role as a benchmark for organ music in Abruzzo.
