Dolci Ricami di Olio

On Monday, December 8, 2025, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, Vallecorsa celebrated the eighth edition of Dolci Ricami di Olio, promoted by the Municipal Administration. The day began at 11:00 AM in Piazza Sant'Angelo with the presentation of the ancient Pozzi Le Prata, told through an immersive virtual reality experience curated by students of the De Mattias School.

From 11:30 AM, food stalls enlivened the route to Piazza Plebiscito, where the ice rink remained open until 8:00 PM with DJ sets. In the afternoon, the inauguration of Giuseppe Lauretti's artistic nativity scene—marking the 50th anniversary of its first creation—and the arrival of Santa Claus at Porta Missoria with animated readings for children. At 5:00 PM, the lighting of the Christmas tree in Piazza VV.CC. di Guerra, accompanied by the "G. Verdi" Band conducted by Maestro Benedetto Agresta, while Il Canzoniere Aurunco brought folk music to the alleys. The De Mattias House Museum was also open all day with free guided tours and the exhibition "Illuminare la Materia" by Renato Reali.
