The career day dedicated to professional inclusion for people with disabilities and protected categories
Diversity Day Rome is the Roman event dedicated to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Accessibility in the workplace. This career day is specifically designed for people with disabilities and those registered under the Law 68/99 protected categories: a day where the distance between the corporate world and candidates is truly bridged, thanks to direct contact and an environment built to be welcoming.
The event takes place in the Municipality of Rome, capital of the Metropolitan City of Rome and the Lazio region, within the Marco Polo Building of Sapienza University of Rome, at Viale dello Scalo San Lorenzo 82, just a short walk from the San Lorenzo university district.
Students and graduates can bring their CVs and conduct in-person interviews with recruiters and managers from the companies present at the booths set up for the occasion. Alongside the interview area, you will find:
Diversity Day Rome is Italy's first neuro-inclusive career day and pays special attention to the accessibility of the experience. LIS interpreters (Italian Sign Language) are available for deaf individuals, sensory decompression spaces are provided for those who need a break from stimuli, access is permitted for guide dogs and assistance animals, and a free shuttle service from the metro station is available for easy access to the venue.
The initiative is promoted by Value People, ANDEL - National Agency for Disability and Work, and Jobadvisor, in collaboration with Sapienza University of Rome, which provides the space and its guidance services. The Diversity Day format is replicated in various Italian cities, but the Rome leg is traditionally one of the most attended, both for the number of companies involved and the pool of candidates in the metropolitan area.
In the weeks leading up to the event, online preparation sessions are organized under the title Waiting for Diversity Day: webinars on enhancing your CV, workshops on interview techniques, and meetings with consultants specialized in inclusive selection. These are free and accessible remotely, allowing you to arrive at the event fully prepared.
For many people with disabilities, the first obstacle is not competence, but the opportunity to meet those who are hiring. Diversity Day Rome was created precisely to provide that opportunity: a free day, in the heart of the capital's university district, where you can introduce yourself, make yourself known, and understand which professional paths are truly open. It is also a valuable moment for companies, as it allows them to meet qualified candidates and discuss reasonable accommodation and workplace accessibility with organizations and associations.
Diversity Day Rome 2026 enlivened the Marco Polo Building of Sapienza in the San Lorenzo district for a full day, confirming itself as one of the most significant events in Italy regarding professional inclusion. From 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM, students, graduates, and external candidates were able to submit their CVs and conduct direct interviews at the stands of participating companies.
Alongside the interviews, the Training Point area offered CV reviews with experts, interview simulations, and advice for active job searching, while institutional corners illustrated services dedicated to disability, alongside the Disability Services and Career Service desks of Sapienza. The day was designed as a fully accessible experience, with LIS interpreters, sensory decompression spaces, and a free shuttle from the Manzoni metro station.

The venue is within walking distance of Roma Termini Station (about 15 minutes) and is served by surface lines running along Via Prenestina and Viale dello Scalo San Lorenzo. During the event days, a free shuttle service is active from the Manzoni metro stop (Line A), with no reservation required. Those arriving by car can use parking in the area, keeping city traffic in mind: the train remains the most convenient solution.
LIS interpreters available during the day (upon request), sensory decompression spaces, access permitted for guide dogs and assistance animals.
Free participation with mandatory registration via the official Diversity Day website. It is recommended to bring multiple copies of your CV.
