Dite Inferno 2025 - 3rd Edition

The third edition of Dite Inferno was staged in Giovinazzo on Friday, January 17 and Saturday, January 18, 2025, serving as a cultural prologue to the famous traditional event of the Sant'Antonio Abate Bonfires, scheduled for Sunday, January 19. Now in its third edition after the first two "Borgo Infernum" experiences, the itinerant show brought the verses of Dante's Inferno from the Divine Comedy into the alleys of the old town.

The performance, lasting approximately 60 minutes, took place across three evening slots (6:00 PM, 7:30 PM, and 9:00 PM). The production, curated by the Schegge di Cotone company with direction by Pietro Naglieri and artistic direction by Gianpaolo Sinesi, transformed the old town into a suggestive setting blending poetry, music, and theatre. Tickets were on sale via the Vivaticket network at a single price of 7 euros. The initiative, organised by the Chiamata di scena association, received support from the Municipality of Giovinazzo and the patronage of the Apulia Region and Puglia Culture.
