Edition 2025 — District Dance Festival

The fourth edition of the District Dance Festival took place from July 21 to 26, 2025, at the Villa Lais Amphitheater, under the patronage of the 7th Municipality. Six days of evening shows, free workshops, and site-specific performances, featuring new creations by Compagnia Atacama and guest companies including Fabula Saltica, Ersilia Danza, Motus, Mandala, ResExtensa, and EgriBiancoDanza.

The District Dance Festival 2025 was held from July 21 to 26 at the Villa Lais Amphitheater in Rome. The opening was marked by a workshop, Corpo e Luogo (Body and Place), led by Patrizia Cavola and Ivan Truol, followed on July 23 by the children's workshop Esplor-Azioni with Valeria Loprieno.

Performances took place every evening starting July 22: Io sono di legno by Fabula Saltica and Anime by Compagnia Atacama, followed by Nel bosco di Erin by Ersilia Danza and Cappuccetto Rosso for younger audiences, Invidia by the Motus company with Last Chance by Mandala, the new production L'Ultimo Uomo by Cavola and Truol inspired by Byung-Chul Han's essay, and finally the closing night with ResExtensa and EgriBiancoDanza.
