Edition 2025 — Disfida dei Falò
The 2025 edition of the Disfida dei Falò animated Pontremoli with the three traditional evenings: the Sant'Ilario Bonfire on January 13 from 6:30 PM at the foot of the Piagnaro Castle, the San Nicolò Bonfire on January 17 on the right bank of the Magra, and the San Geminiano Bonfire on January 31 near the Ponte della Cresa. In 2025, the two districts competed with wood piles several meters high before a large crowd.
Disfida dei Falò 2025
The 2025 edition followed the traditional calendar of the Pontremoli event.
- January 13, from 6:30 PM — Sant'Ilario Bonfire, near the church of Sant'Ilario in the shadow of the Piagnaro Castle.
- January 17 — San Nicolò Bonfire, on the right bank of the Magra River near the Ponte Pompeo Spagnoli.
- January 31 — San Geminiano Bonfire, patron saint of the city, in the bed of the Verde stream near the Ponte della Cresa.
In 2025, local associations also offered guided tour routes of the historic center during the main evenings of the challenge.
