Edition 2025 — DISFEST

In 2025, the I Nuovi Scalzi association continued the multi-year programme of masterclasses, artistic residencies, and advanced training in Barletta that led to the public debut of DISFEST. The first edition of the international performing arts festival was held the following year, in 2026.

Before its public debut, DISFEST was preceded by a multi-year work process carried out in Barletta by the I Nuovi Scalzi association. Throughout 2025, activities involving masterclasses, artistic residencies, and training dedicated to young actors, performers, and dancers continued, laying the foundations for the festival.

This preparatory work, supported under the ministerial Boarding Pass Plus grant and with the support of the Apulia Region, made the birth of the first public edition of the event in 2026, in the Piazza d'Armi of the Castello Svevo, possible.
