Discorsi Mediterranei 2025: the Patù stop

The Patù leg of the first edition was held on September 6-7, 2025, at Palazzo Romano in Patù (LE), following the initial events in Specchia and Santa Maria di Leuca. Promoted by Arci Cassandra Aps, Narrazioni Ets, and the Institute of Mediterranean Cultures, the festival brought a dense program of talks, workshops, exhibitions, and music dedicated to new narratives of migration to the Capo di Leuca.

Saturday began at 4:30 PM, and Sunday at 7:00 PM. Among the offerings was a multimedia exhibition featuring illustrations, photographs, web series, and podcasts on the borders of the Mediterranean and the Sahel — with illustrations by Tunisian artist Zainab Fasiki and reportage by Annalisa Camilli and Michele Cattani — as well as an experiential workshop led by activist Marie Moïse. The first day concluded with the Bar Med concert, which blended the sounds of Antonio Castrignanò and Ziad Trabelsi, while the final evening featured a DJ set by La Pam. All events were free and open to the public.
