Edition 2025 — Dies Natalis of Saint Agrippina

On June 23rd, 2025, Mineo celebrated the Dies Natalis of Saint Agrippina, the liturgical anniversary of the patron saint's martyrdom. In the Mother Church, the community gathered for Eucharistic celebrations around the saint's statue, renewing a cult that has its roots in Mineo since the 3rd century.

In 2025, June 23rd once again marked the Dies Natalis of Saint Agrippina in Mineo (CT), the commemoration of the day of the patron saint's martyrdom. The day took place in the Mother Church, the historic heart of the Agrippinian cult in the Calatino area, with Eucharistic celebrations and prayers from the parish community before the saint's wooden statue. A day of deep devotion, distinct from the grand patronal festival of the last two Sundays of August, which in 2025 saw the local cult further recognized as intangible heritage of the Sicilian Region.
