Desmontegada of Fai della Paganella

The 2025 Desmontegada was held on Sunday, September 14, as the grand finale of the eighth edition of the Orme Festival, the trail festival of Fai della Paganella that took place from September 5 to 14, 2025, with the theme "The trail as a metaphor for life."

The day featured the traditional parade of cows returning from high-altitude pastures, dressed for the occasion, along the streets of the village center, accompanied by music, children's workshops, and a large community lunch with typical products of the plateau. The ritual symbolically closed an immersive journey between nature and community, celebrating the bond between the mountain people, their animals, and the Dolomite pastures.
