Edition 2025 — Desmonteada

The 2025 edition of the Desmonteada of Soraga took place on Saturday, September 20th. As per tradition, the day brought the community of Soraga di Fassa together for the parade of livestock returning from the alpine pastures, featuring an organic market, artisanal cheese-making, a farmer's aperitif, a genuine lunch, and folk music at Prà del Preve.

The Desmonteada of Soraga 2025

On Saturday, September 20, 2025, Soraga di Fassa renewed its appointment with the Desmonteada, the festival celebrating the return of livestock from the alpine pastures. The day opened at 9:00 AM at Prà del Preve with the organic market and artisanal cheese-making demonstration, continuing from 10:00 AM with music and folk dancing along the village streets and the farmer's aperitif in Piaz de Bepo Roch. After lunch featuring typical valley flavors, at 12:30 PM, the parade of cows, sheep, goats, donkeys, and pigs crossed the main street, accompanied by shepherds and farmers. The edition was held during the same days as the Puzzone di Moena DOP Festival, in the heart of the Fassa autumn.
