Edition 2025 — Befana from San Leo Bell Tower

In 2025, San Leo also celebrated Epiphany with the Descent of Befana from the Bell Tower, a traditional event dedicated to families. On January 6th, Befana descended from the Bell Tower of the medieval village, distributing sweets to children during an afternoon of celebration in the historic center of the Rimini Montefeltro region.

The 2025 edition of the Descent of Befana from the Bell Tower took place on January 6th in San Leo, confirming a tradition much loved by families in the Valmarecchia. On the afternoon of Epiphany, Befana descended from the ancient Bell Tower overlooking the village, giving children sweets and moments of wonder.

The event, free and outdoors, was held in the historic center of San Leo, at the foot of the Pieve and the Duomo, in one of the most evocative settings in Emilia-Romagna. A festive closing of the Christmas holidays in the heart of Montefeltro.
