Edition 2024 — DePortibus

The first edition of DePortibus took place in La Spezia from May 10th to 12th, 2024, inaugurating the travelling festival of ports concept. Three days of meetings, debates, exhibitions, and shows spread throughout the city and its gulf, from the Teatro Civico to Castello San Giorgio and the Cruise Terminal, dedicated to the sea, port activity, and maritime transport culture in the Mediterranean.

DePortibus was born in La Spezia from May 10th to 12th, 2024, the first stop of a festival designed to change host city with each edition. The event involved the entire city center and the gulf, with venues such as the Teatro Civico, Castello San Giorgio, the Regional Mediatheque, the Port Authority Auditorium, the Cruise Terminal, Molo Italia, and the Naval Museum. A packed schedule of events from morning to evening intertwined themes related to the sea, travel, European routes, and the environment. Promoted by the Port System Authority of the Eastern Ligurian Sea and organized by Italian Blue Growth, the event laid the foundation for the format that later arrived in Ravenna in 2026.
