Democrazia Cristiana Friendship Festival

Third edition: October 3-5, 2025

The third edition of the Democrazia Cristiana Friendship Festival was held in Ribera from October 3 to 5, 2025, with the ribbon-cutting ceremony in Piazza Duomo on Friday evening. The program alternated between a busy calendar of conferences and a rich schedule of entertainment.

The debates addressed topics such as the quality of education, peace and international law, healthcare innovation, agriculture and credit, social inclusion, environmental protection, and public ethics, with a general assembly concluding the event. Institutional and political guests included regional and national figures as well as former regional presidents.

Regarding entertainment, the evenings were brought to life by concerts, book presentations, local artists, and street performances, while street food featuring Sicilian specialties, pastry, and the local products fair accompanied the three days in the heart of Ribera, in the province of Agrigento.
