Democratic Festival of Sant'Ilario d'Enza

The 2025 edition of the Democratic Festival of Sant'Ilario d'Enza took place from July 10th to 20th at Parco San Rocco, with a break on July 14th, and represented a special edition: for the first time, the Sant'Ilario event became the regional festival of the Democratic Party of Emilia-Romagna.

The political program saw the participation of numerous prominent guests, including national secretary Elly Schlein, present on the closing evening of July 20th, the president of the Region Michele De Pascale, the national president of the PD Stefano Bonaccini, and Pier Luigi Bersani, who attended the presentation of one of his books. Alongside the debates, the arena offered shows and entertainment evenings, with comedy moments provided by comedian Antonio Guidetti.

As per tradition, the food stands offered traditional cuisine, barbecue, seafood restaurant, fried gnocco, bar, and ice cream parlour, thanks to the work of about four hundred volunteers engaged daily. The festival confirmed its strong ties with the territory of Sant'Ilario d'Enza and the entire province of Reggio Emilia.
